DON’T MONKEY AROUND WITH YOUR ROUTINE THIS SUMMER!
Join us as we continue to play some games and encourage you
to workout 3 times a week this summer. It’s so easy to get
out of the habit of exercise and we want to help! Sign up
at the desk (it’s FREE!) if you haven’t already. As long as
you aren’t “monkeying around”, a bunch of bananas with your
name on them will remain hanging up!
HIDDEN REASONS TO STAY MOTIVATED
Everyone tells us to stay motivated. Our friends, our
co-workers, our relatives. They all say to keep going,
don’t quit. Sometimes, though, you wonder “why”. Why try
my hardest when it may end in disappointment.
Because it’s going to be different this time! Because you
can’t accomplish anything that you give up on.
Disappointments and setbacks happen to everyone. The
difference between those who reach their goals and those who
don’t is staying motivated. If you’re motivated, you’ll
keep on going. If you keep going, eventually you’ll reach
your goals!
Need more reasons? Here are some of our hidden reasons to
stay motivated. Use one or all of them to keep the fire
burning inside of you.
Confidence. How did it feel after that first workout at
Curves? How does it feel when you can now walk the stairs
without losing your breath. The more you accomplish, the
more you’ll believe in yourself.
Fit into that special outfit. It’s been hanging up in your
closet for two years now, just waiting to be thrown on for a
special night on the town. All it takes is for you to go
the extra mile and stay on track. Before you know it, those
two years will be ancient history!
Make the week easier. Ever felt like a week was taking
forever? It feels like Friday, but it’s only Tuesday? This
happens when you’re not working towards any goals. When you
have a goal in mind, you’ll want to cook that healthy food
and get into the gym. The week will not only go faster, but
be more fun!
Gives you purpose. Every once in awhile, we need a good
reason just to get out of bed in the morning. Put that goal
right in front of you. Eat your healthy breakfast that will
start your day out right. Get your 3 workouts in at Curves
and look for opportunities for more exercise. Take those
steps. Park further away on the parking lot. Take a walk
in the evening with your pet.
Take a few minutes right now and think about your goals.
What do you need to do to become more healthy? What will
make you feel better about yourself? What will make you
able to lead your life the way you want to? Now decide what
you need to do to achieve these goals. Make a list. Figure
out how you can put your plan into action. If you need

help you work on reaching those goals. Your dreams are our
